As the story began...

In the heart of the historical district of Irqah, the story of the heritage house of Isa comes to life, where its name goes back to Isa bin Mugayel, one of the sons of the historical Irqah, who was born and raised there in 1873.
A hundred years later, and with the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030 towards reviving Saudi identity and heritage, Isa’s grandson, Badr bin Fahd bin Ibrahim bin Isa bin Mugayel, was inspired by this vision to revive his ancestors’ legacy.
He restored the ancient Isa house in 2022 to be an architectural masterpiece that embodies the spirit of authenticity, a cornerstone contributing to the revival of heritage and history in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Najdi architecture

Najdi architecture is a distinctive style that originates from the Najd region of Saudi Arabia. Known for its unique blend of functionality, simplicity, and cultural symbolism, Najdi architecture showcases the traditional building techniques and materials of the region.
Characterized by its flat roofs, thick walls, and intricate geometric patterns, Najdi architecture reflects the harsh desert climate while also incorporating elements of Islamic art and design. This architectural style not only serves practical purposes but also serves as a visual representation of the rich cultural heritage and history of the Najd region.
